Features

With the features added in this release of the Aptean Advanced Attributes extension,

You can create lot attribute hierarchy templates, define parent-child relation levels, and specify allowed lot attribute values per level. This ensures consistent, hierarchy-driven lot attribute value selection across documents. For more information, see Set up lot attribute hierarchy templates.

You can apply these lot attribute hierarchy templates to item or item category lots. For more information, see Apply hierarchy templates to item or item category lots.

When assigning lots in purchase documents and output lines of production orders, the system automatically inherits lot attributes defined in the hierarchy template associated with the item on the Lot Attribute Values page. For more information, see To incoming purchase documents and Output lines of the production order.

When filtering lots in sales documents, component line of production orders, and transfer orders, the system automatically filters lot attributes as defined in the hierarchy template associated with the item on the Lot Attribute Filter Requirements page. When the Aptean Quality Control (BC) extension is installed, the system displays global lot attribute values on the Quality Control Checks and Posted Quality Control Checks pages when the related purchase, sales, production, or transfer order lines are associated with one lot. This extension has been updated to ensure interoperability with the recent changes in the:

The Lot Attribute Hierarchy Templates list and Lot Attribute Hierarchy Template card pages have been added.
The Hierarchy Code field has been added to the Lot Attribute Template page.
The Level field has been added to the Lot Attribute Template, Lot Attribute Values, and Lot Attribute Filter Requirement pages.
