Periodic Activities

To manually process EDI transactions, an organization must regularly run designated activities from the Manually Run EDI Processes page accessed from the Search icon . This page processes the selected EDI activities. Available activities include Receive from Ports, Process Inbound, Process Sales Shipments, Process Sales Invoices, Process Sales Cr. Memos, Process Trans. Shipment, Process Sales Ack., Process Transfer Ack., and Process Outbound.

You can receive inbound EDI messages from your connection, process pending inbound messages, generate outbound messages from a variety of Business Central documents, and process pending outbound messages. To process pending EDI messages for selected activities, select one or more desired activities, click OK, and the program will handle any pending EDI messages. On the Batch Process EDI Picks page, you can process multiple pending EDI picking activities at once as part of a single batch.
