Default Values Support

You can now predefine the default values of a document in the EDI Port. So that when you are importing an inbound document using the EDI Port, it will take the default values defined in the EDI Port to fill the empty fields.

Follow these steps to get Default Values Support:

  1. Select the Search icon , enter EDI Ports and then choose the related link.
    The EDI Ports page appears.
  2. Select the EDI port which you want to view.
    The EDI Port Card page appears.
  3. On the action bar, click Related > Defaults > Open.
    The EDI Schema Editor page appears.
  4. Enter the required data in the Value field and click OK.
  5. On the EDI Port Card page, click Actions > Receive Single or Receive All.
    The Select an EDI File page appears.
  6. Click Choose and select the file which you want to import.
    The default values will appear in the document using the port.
