Payment with Delay in Capture

- Select the Search icon
, enter Aptean Pay Setup, and then choose the related link.
The Aptean Pay Setup page opens. - Under Payment Requests and Authorizations tab, disable Immediate Capture.
- In Delay in Capture field, enter the number of days after which you want the payment to be captured. E.g. If you wish to have a delay of one day in payment capture, enter 1D.
- Configure a Payment Scheduler job queue. See Payments Scheduler job queue section for more details.
- Select the Search icon
, enter Sales Order, and then choose the related link.
The Sales Order page opens. - Choose New.
- Under General tab, in the Customer Name field, choose
.
- Choose the appropriate customer name and choose OK.
The customer details will display on the page. - Enter the following details:
- Type of entity that will be posted for this sales line
- Description of the entry of the product to be sold
- Quantity i.e. number of units being sold
- Unit Price Excl. Tax i.e. the price for one unit on the sales line
- Follow the below procedures to select the Payment method.
- In the Sales Order page, enable the Skip Authorization field.
- In the Sales Order page, click Release to release the Sales Order.
- Click Apply Payment Method
- Select the Aptean Payment Method Id which you want.
- Click OK.
- Choose Release tab and then choose Release.
- Choose Posting tab and then choose Post.
A dialog box opens. - Choose Ship and Invoice and then choose OK.
Another dialog box opens asking if you want to open the Posted Invoice. - Choose Yes. The job queue will run in the background now.
- Choose More Options Tab and then choose Navigate or Related.
- Choose Aptean Pay Pre-Auth Queue.
A new page opens. - Choose Actions and then choose Send to Aptean Pay.
Here you can check the Payment Status. The Payment Status will be captured after the number of days you entered under Delay in Capture field.
