After Aptean Pay payment receipt information has been loaded into the Aptean Pay Receipts Queue page, you can create corresponding records in a cash receipt journal.
To create Aptean Pay payment receipt records in a cash receipt journal
- Select the Search icon
, enter Aptean Pay Receipts Queue, and then choose the related link.
The Aptean Pay Receipts Queue page opens. - Select one or more records for which you want to create corresponding records in a cash receipt journal.
- On the action bar, choose Create Record in Journal.
- If a Convenience Fee Amount is available in the selected records, the system will automatically generate a specific entry in the Cash Receipt Journal to reflect this fee.
- The original payment entry in the Cash Receipt Journal will be updated to account for the convenience fee accurately.
- Corresponding entries, including an invoice and payment record, will be created to maintain precise financial tracking.
Upon loading the consolidated receipt on the Aptean Pay Receipt Queue page from the Aptean Pay Portal, the convenience fees are shown in only one record instead of evenly distributed across the invoices as expected.
