Walkthrough: Printing picked license plates manually
When picking items in the warehouse, you may not always be able to pick all items on the list for example, if the warehouse manager instructs you to skip an item due to an order mistake. Normally, labels are printed automatically when a pick is fully completed. However, you can print labels for the pallets that were successfully picked. These labels typically include the customer destination and other shipment details.
Let us see how to print labels for license plates that are picked manually.
Set up labeling
You must ensure that the labeling setup is configured correctly by reviewing the following areas to enable successful label printing.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Label Selection | Defines which labels are available for printing and under what conditions. |
| Label Category | Groups labels into categories, such as Picked License Plates or Shipping Labels. |
| Label Print Setup | Specifies the printer and template used for label output. |
| Label | Defines the label template or layout used by the system. |
| Labeling Setup | Ensures that the labeling solution is correctly linked with the labeling software. |
If labels do not print, verify that your printer configuration matches the label print setup.
