Features

With the features added in this release of the Aptean Transport extension,

  • You can define the Earliest Available Shipment Date Formula field value on the Transport Setup page. This field calculates the number of days to be added to the work date to determine the earliest shipment date, based on the selected weekdays Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday checkboxes on the Transport Route page.

  • You can specify the Shipment Method Code field on the following pages:

    • Transport Planning
    • Transport Management
    • Transport Order

  • On the Item-Transport Floor Space Type page, when you select a value in the Transport Floor Space Type field, the system automatically update in the Transport Floor Space Type Description field based on the Code Caption field value on the Transport Floor Space Type page.

  • You can configure the Shipping Agent (Source) field value on the Transport Planning and Transport Requests FastTabs on the Transport Management pages.

Enhancements/Modifications

With this release of the Aptean Transport extension, any changes to field values on the transport planning line are automatically saved on the related Transport Order page, which opens when you select the Transport Order No. field without requiring you to leave the selected record on the Transport Planning page.

UI/UX changes

The following UI/UX changes have been made in this release.

  • The Shipment Method Code field has been added to the Transport Planning, Transport Management, and Transport Order pages.

  • The Transport Floor Space Type Description field has been added to the Item-Transport Floor Space Type page.

  • The Shipping Agent (Source) field has been added to the Transport Planning and Transport Requests FastTabs on the Transport Management pages.

Resolved issues

The following issues have been resolved in this release.

ID Description
261515 The system incorrectly recalculates shipment dates and displays an incorrect confirmation message on the Sales Order page when the Auto Update Shipment Date toggle is turned on. This issue occurs because the system fails to validate the Source Type and Source No. fields on the Transport Route Assignments page, allowing records to be saved with missing values.
264529 An error occurs on the Transport Route Assignments page when the Route Code and Version fields have values on the lines, specific days are selected, and the Shipment Day field is set to a particular day on the Filter FastTab.
