Calculation of unit price for broken source items

The system follows the following hierarchy to calculate the unit price for broken source items in sales orders.

  1. Based on advanced pricing, if the Aptean Advanced Pricing extension is installed.
  2. Based on the Unit Price field value on the Prices & Sales FastTab of the Item Card page.
  3. Based on the defined alternate costs on the Item Alternate Cost page and pricing calculation formulas on the Price Calculation Matrix page, if the Aptean Pricing Matrix extension is installed and the Pricing toggle is turned on. For more information see, Set up broken items.

  • The system allows for different source variant code for broken source items pricing calculation.
  • Ensure that the Unit of Measure field value is blank for the pricing calculation formulas on the Price Calculation Matrix page.
  • The trade prices do not apply to broken source items when the Aptean Trade Management extension is installed.
