Non Conformance Category Actions

You can register default follow up actions per category, subcategory code and non-conformance type.

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Non-Conformance Category Actions, and then choose the related link.
    The Non-Conformance Category Actions page opens.
  2. In the Category Code field, select the Non-conformance category code to which the action is linked.
  3. In theSubcategory Code field, select a more detailed level of the Category Code.
  4. In the Action Code field ,select the name or reference number of the action that will be generated when following up on the related non-conformances.
  5. In theResponsible field, select the User ID of the person.
    This is the person that is responsible for carrying out the non-conformance action. If Microsoft Teams synchronization is available, this person gets a notification and will see the action in Microsoft Planner.
  6. In the Deadline field, enter the value.
    This is the deadline for carrying out the non-conformance action. The deadline can be entered using date formulas such as 2w (2 weeks) or 3D (3 days).
  7. Select the Return Required checkbox.
    If executing the follow-up action should involve creating a sales or purchase return order, then turn on the Return Required checkbox. If no sales or purchase return order is created when closing the non-conformance, a warning is shown.
  8. Select the Credit Memo Required checkbox.
    If executing the follow-up action should involve creating a sales or purchase credit memo, then select the Credit Memo Required checkbox. If no sales or purchase credit memo is created when closing the non-conformance, a warning is shown.
