Manage e-signature
When the Aptean eSignature extension is installed, you can manage status change through an enhanced e-signature workflow.
To sign the document, follow these steps:

Navigate to the Vendor Non-Conformance page.

On the action bar, select Change Status Mgmt Status. The Status Mgmt. Description field is updated with the description of the selected code.
If the selected code does not have a value in the eSignature User Group field on the Status Management Flow page, the Pending Change Status To field value is not displayed. -
Select OK to confirm. The Pending Change Status To field displays the description from the selected status line.

Select the Pending Change Status To field value to navigate to the eSignature Request Entries page.

Sign the document to complete the status change.

On the action bar, select Related > Status Management Log. The Status Management Log page opens. On the Approved / Rejected FastTab, you can view the information of the status after changing the Status Mgmt. Description field value.
Field Name Description Entry No. Specifies the unique entry number for the approval or rejection. From Status Specifies the original status before the action. To Status Specifies the new status after the action. eSignature User Group Specifies the user group authorized to provide an eSignature. User ID Specifies the ID of the user who performed the action. Signing Authority Specifies the person name authorized to approve or reject. Status Specifies the current status of the request. Signed Date and Time Specifies the date and time when the request is signed. Key Specifies the unique identifier for the signature record. Comment Specifies the remarks provided during approval or rejection. Delegated From User ID Specifies the ID of the user who delegated the task.
