Add Non-Conformance Reason to a Non-Conformance

When a non-conformance is investigated and the cause is known, a non-conformance reason and subreason can be registered. The description below shows how to register a reason and subreason for a customer non-conformance.

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Customer Non-Conformances, and then choose the related link.
    The Customer Non-Conformances list page opens.
  2. Select the desired No.
    The Customer Non-Conformance page opens.
  3. On the General FastTab, in the Reason field, selectthe code for the reason of non-conformance, as indicated by internal staff.
    When needed, a subreason can be registered.
  4. In the Subreason field, select a more detailed level of the Reason.

The non-conformance reason and subreason are now linked to the customer non-conformance.
