Mobile Profile Setup
Each mobile page that can be accessed by Aptean Mobile Warehouse Registration has existing setup options. These options are configured on a profile-by-profile basis in the Mobile Profile Setup page.
When the Mobile Profile Setup page is initially opened, no lines are present. To display the lines, you must specify a combination of Profile and Page in the respective fields at the top of the page.
Once these values have been specified, Business Central presents the setup options for the entered combination of profile and page:
The specific options that are displayed are unique to the selected page.The entry in the Value field for each option will indicate whether it is enabled or disabled. This field is editable, and can be changed for different profiles.
When a line is selected in the Mobile Profile Setup page, information about that line, such as its associated code and type, are displayed in the area at the bottom of the page. The existing settings tie each option to a specific process or activity, and any changes to the entries in these fields may disrupt the intended functionality.
The Create Default Setup function in the Mobile Setup page includes a mobile profile record called WMS, for which all existing mobile profile setup options have been defined. Additional profiles can be configured by copying this existing profile’s settings, then making any modifications as needed.
The first page that should be configured for a given profile is the Home page.
For each page, the entry in the Value field will determine whether or not the page can be accessed by users who have been assigned to the profile. This is useful when you wish to set up profiles that correspond to a limited set of activities. For example, you might define a separate profile for receiving activities, then disable the Pick and Movement pages, as they would not be applicable to an employee focused solely on processing receipts.
Once you have determined which pages will be accessible from the Home page, you can configure these additional pages’ settings by changing the entry in the Page field. Please note that it is not necessary to configure settings for any pages that have not been enabled. Using our earlier example, after disabling the Pick and Movement pages, we would not need to configure their settings for that particular profile.
In addition to enabling/disabling which pages are displayed on the Home page, it is also possible to configure the manner in which Aptean Mobile Warehouse Registration handles certain records that are entered in the Home page’s quick scan prompt. The quick scan prompt allows users to enter or scan a particular document number or record and immediately launch a relevant activity within Aptean Mobile Warehouse Registration. In some instances, it may be that multiple activities are applicable to a particular type of record, making it necessary to instruct the application which activity should be launched when the record in question is entered in the quick scan prompt.
The following setup is present in the mobile profile setup for the Home-page:

| Enable Pick | If this option is enabled, the Pick option is shown in Aptean Mobile Warehouse Registration. |
| Enable Put-Away | If this option is enabled, the Put-Away option is shown in Aptean Mobile Warehouse Registration. |
| Enable Receive | If this option is enabled, the Receive option is shown in Aptean Mobile Warehouse Registration. |
| Enable Item Info | If this option is enabled, the Item Info option is shown in Aptean Mobile Warehouse Registration. |
| Enable Lot Info | If this option is enabled, the Lot Info option is shown in Aptean Mobile Warehouse Registration. |
| Enable Queue | If this option is enabled, the Queue option is shown in Aptean Mobile Warehouse Registration. |
| Enable Serial Info | If this option is enabled, the Serial Info option is shown in Aptean Mobile Warehouse Registration. |
| Enable Production | If this option is enabled, the Production option is shown in Aptean Mobile Warehouse Registration. |
| Enable Move | If this option is enabled, the Move option is shown in Aptean Mobile Warehouse Registration. |
| Enable Planned Movement | If this option is enabled, the Planned Movement option is shown in Aptean Mobile Warehouse Registration. |
| Show Move on Bin Scan | If this option is enabled and a user enters a bin record in the quick scan prompt, Aptean Mobile Warehouse Registration will launch the Movement activity. The bin will be automatically assigned for movement, and the activity will open in the Take phase so that the user may specify the bin contents that will be moved. If this option is not enabled, entering a bin record in the quick scan prompt will instruct Aptean Mobile Warehouse Registration to launch the Bin Contents activity, displaying information about the bin's contents. |
| Enable Single Item Bin ID | If this option is enabled and a user enters a bin code when prompted for an item number, Aptean Mobile Warehouse Registration will automatically assign the item and lot number that exist within the entered bin to the activity. This is useful in scenarios where a bin's contents are comprised of a single item and lot record. It is not recommended that this setting be enabled if multiple items or lots are stored in the same bin. |
Please avoid altering the Description fieldson the Profile Page Fields FastTab on the Mobile Profile Setup page. Any change might cause a malfunction.
