Features

With this release of the Aptean Labeling extension, you can:

• Efficiently print multiple labels in NiceLabel or BarTender Cloud by grouping them into a single API call, avoiding the limitation of 5 API calls per second. For more information, see Set up labels.

Ensure the relevant configurations are completed in the NiceLabel Cloud software for this functionality to take effect. To know more about the configurations on the NiceLabel Cloud software, see:

• Define unique configurations for each label printer. For more information, see Printer Code Setup.
• Associate a specific Printer Code for easy identification during label printing tasks. For more information, see Label Printer Setup.

UI/UX changes

The following UI/UX changes have been made in this release:

• The Printer Code Setup page is added.
• The Printer Setup Code field is added to the Label Printer Setup page.
• The Communication Type field is added to the Labeling Setup page. This field specifies the communication type for label batching, allowing optimization of API calls when printing multiple labels. The default setting is Single, which sends labels individually in separate API calls. The Combined option groups multiple labels into a single API call.

The following issue has been resolved in this release:
