You can use the Undo Close Excise Data functionality to re-open the entries when the Excise Duty Ledger Entries are closed accidentally.
Undo of closing should be done very carefully as entries might already be closed correctly. Proper data protection and notifications should be in place to prevent from illogical undoing of entries.
- Select the Search icon
, enter Undo Close Excise Data, and then choose the related link.
The Undo Close Excise Data page opens. - Select the Excise Period.
- Choose Print.
A dialog confirms that excise duty ledger entries were re-opened. - Choose OK.
You can see the Closed Excise Duty Ledger Entries with the selected Excise Period. - Go to the Excise Duty Ledger Entries page.
You can see that the selected Excise Duty Ledger Entries are updated on the following fields:Status is changed from Closed to Open.
Excise Period is updated with a blank.
Customs Reference Code is updated with a blank.
Customs Date is updated with a blank.
- Go to the Excise Period page.
You can see that the Excise Period is updated on the following fields:- Updated By is updated with the User Id of the user who executes the batch functionality.
- Update at Date/Time is updated with the actual Date/Time.
- Customs Reference Code is left blank.
- Last Action is updated to Undo Closing.
- No of Records is updated to none related to that Excise Period.
