Select an entry from the Customs Tax Trading Setup

When you select the record from Customs Tax Trading Partner by entering a sales, purchase or transfer line, the following checks are done:

  1. If there is no entry found, the following error occurs: “For the foreign trade transaction there is no valid entry found for the combination."
  2. If you select the record out of the table Customs Tax Trading Partner, the fields Customs Tax Partner Type, Customs Tax Partner No., and External Document Type must be filled.
  3. If the Customs Partner No. is found, then in combination with the tariff group of the excise item the valid Trade Partner No. License (Main) and the Trade Partner No. License (Sub) must be filled. If no entry is found, the following error occurs: “For Customs Tax Partner No., no valid Customs License is be found for the Tariff Group.”

To select an entry from the Customs Tax Trading Setup, the below sequence of filtering is carried out based on the fixed filters:

  • Entry Type
  • Organization Country Code
  • Trading Partner Country Code

In this table the following is supported:

  • X- The selected value is taken into account
  • <Empty> -All values are valid

For example, line 7 means, filter is only on:

  • Trading Partner
  • Location Code
  • Tariff Group
