It is possible to get insight about the related excise data that is valid for the production transaction when you enter a production document with the status Simulated, Planned, Firmed Planned and Released . The following information is registered:

When you enter an excise item on a production order line and production component line, the related excise data is created. Also, when you update a production order line and production component line for the defined fields for an excise item, the related excise data is re-calculated.

It is possible to update an existing production order with special functions (refresh, replan, change status and so on) or create a production order from the planning. These functions are integrated in creating the required excise data.

To finish the released production orders, it is necessary that the Alcohol Balance is in balance and no difference may remain in Customs Quantity 100%. When there are differences exist, these differences can be adjusted with the Gain/Loss Journal. In the Excise Duty Setup, you are able to setup all kind of parameters to support this posting.
