Posting Item Journal
When posting an item journal line, it is possible to get an insight into the related excise data that is valid after finishing the item journal line posting. You can transfer data from an item journal line to posted excise ledger entries and integrate the posted excise duty ledger entries with the item ledger entry when posting an item journal line. The excise data is always recalculated when you post an item journal line. The Posting Date of the sales document is the date on which the recalculation is done. The Excise Data, Customs Licenses, and Trading Information from the item journal are inherited in the posted excise entries once you post the item journal lines. All the three Item Journals has the same integration for excise items. In the underlying description only the Posting of Item Journal is described and there where needed a reference to the other journals is made.
While posting, if the Status of the Item is Blocked or Blocked for Movement in the Item Beverage Data, it throws an error. If there is no valid tariff group version selected for the excise item, you get an error message.
