Post Production Journal

It is possible to get insight about the related excise data when you post a production journal for a production document.


The output and consumptions for excise items can be posted on different locations, but for excise regulations the license of all locations must be the samefor the entire production document or no license must be involved.

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Released Production Orders, and then choose the related link.
    The Released Production Orders page opens.
  2. Select the Released Production Order.
  3. On the action bar, go to Line > Production Journal.
    The Production Journal page for the Released Production order opens.
  4. On the action bar, choose Post/Print.
    A dialog confirms whether you want to post the journal lines.
  5. Choose Yes.
    A dialog confirms that the journal lines were successfully posted.
  6. Go back to the Released Production Order page.
  7. On the action bar, go to Related > Order > Entries > Excise Duty Ledger Entries.
    The Excise Duty Ledger Entries page opens and you can see the related excise data.


This works similarly for posting Output and Consumption Journal.
