Item Tariff Groups

An item can have multiple Tariff Groups. You can define different groups under which items can be divided. These tariff groups are used to define all possible customs regulations.

You can create the Item Tariff Groups using the following steps:

  1. Go to the Items List page and select the required Item No.
  2. On the action bar, go to Related > Excise Duty > Tariff Groups.
    The Item Tariff Groups page for the selected Item opens.
  3. Choose New.
  4. Enter the Tariff Group Code.
  5. Enter the Starting Date and the Ending Date.


You are not allowed to deletethe active Item Tariff Group from an Excise item if the excise item has inventory.
