Excise Statement Setup Lines

Excise Statement Setup Lines are used to define the structure and content of the excise statement.

1. Select the Search icon , enter Excise Statement Setup Lines, and then choose the related link. The Excise Statement Setup Lines list page opens.
2. On the action bar, select New to add a new record.
3. In the Code field, enter the value.
4. In the Field field, select an option from the following:
   • Excise Amount
   • Excise Amount to GL
   • Rounding Amount
   • Customs Quantity
   • Customs Quantity 100%
   • Customs Volume
   • G/L Amount
   • Trade Excise Amount
5. In the Unit field, select the Unit of Measure from the list.
6. In the Place Unit field, select an option from the list.
7. In the Rounding Precision field, enter the value. It refers to the level of decimal places used when rounding excise tax amounts.
8. In the Rounding Direction field, select an option from the list.
9. In the Multiplier field, enter the value. This is used as a unit conversion factor to adjust the calculated value based on the setup in the Field field for tax calculation. If no value is entered in the Multiplier field, no conversion is carried out
