Excise General Posting Setup using Copy Function

You can copy data from the General Posting Setup into the Excise General Posting Setup by using the 'Copy' function.

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Excise General Posting Setup, and then choose the related link.
    The Excise General Posting Setup page opens.
  2. On the action bar, choose Copy.
    The Copy - Excise General Posting Setup page opens.
  3. Select the Gen. Bus. Posting Group and Gen. Prod. Posting Group.
  4. Choose OK.
    The selected data from the General Posting Setup is copied into the Excise General Posting Setup by creating the non-existing combinations of Gen. Bus. Posting Group and Gen. Prod. Posting Group and fill up the accounts Sales Account, Sales Credit Memo Account, Purchase Account, Purchase Credit Memo Account, and Inventory Adjmt. Account if no account is assigned in the Excise General Posting Setup.


If you leave any field blank, then the Copy function does not consider the field while filtering. When you leave both fields blank, the Copy function copies all data.
