Excise Calculation Date Setup

There is an option available on the Excise Duty Setup, on what data the excise calculation is based when you enter a purchase order. You can select Expected Receipt Date or Order Date.

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Excise Duty Setup, and then choose the related link.
    The Excise Duty Setup page opens.
  2. In the Purchase Excise Calculation Date field, choose the Expected Receipt Date or Order Date.


When you select the Expected Receipt Date as Purchase Excise Calculation Date, the Calculation Date is taken as Expected Receipt Date on the Excise Lines. If the Expected Receipt Date on the Order Line is empty, then the Order Date is used to calculate the Excise Data. If the Order Date on the Order Line is empty, the Work Date is used as the Calculation Date.
