EXC Integration with LIM extension

The use of various Aptean extensions is handled by a dedicated extension called License Management extension (LIM). Each extension should be integrated with the LIM extension in order to manage and enable or disable the use of a specific extension.

When the license for using the EXC extension is no longer valid, the following functionality may not be executed anymore but should not block the regular BC order process:

• Order entry of an excise item with no valid tariff group or a blocking status for the item excise data should still be possible, but it should not lead to errors in the order entry.
• The creation of the Excise Lines in the Documents (Sales, Purchase, Production, Assembly, Transfer) and Item Journals is no longer supported.
• The creation of the Excise Duty Ledger Entries when posting Documents (Sales, Purchase, Production, Assembly, Transfer) and Item Journals is no longer supported.
• The blocking on the Reason Code in the Item Journals is no longer supported.

A notification should be displayed when opening the Role Center, indicating that the license for the EXC extension is no longer valid.
