Create Assembly Order for Excise Assembly Item

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Assembly Orders, and then choose the related link.
    The Assembly Orders page opens.
  2. Choose New.
    The Assembly Order page opens.
  3. Select Excise Assembly Item in the Source No. dropdown.
  4. Enter the Quantity.
  5. On the action bar, go to Order > Excise Data.
  6. The Excise Lines page opens and these lines are based on each excise item of the assembly BOM from the assembly header.
  7. On the Lines FastTab, go to Line > Excise Duty > Excise Data.
    The Excise Lines page opens and shows the related excise data for the assembly consumption of the particular excise item in the assembly line.


If you want to modify or update an assembly line for an excise item, changes in the following fields are not allowed: Item No., Variant Code, Quantity per, and Unit of Measure Code.


You can not insert or delete an assembly line because, it is only updated by the changes of the item or quantities on the assembly header.


When you modify or update the Item No., Variant Code, Location Code, and Due Date on the assembly header for an Excise Assembly Item, the excise data is updated for the assembly line of the excise item.


You can only use the Item Substitution function to substitute the item on the assembly line for a non-excise item.
