Create a New Customs Tax Trading Setup
- Select the Search icon
, enter Customs Tax Trading Setup, and then choose the related link.
The Customs Tax Trading Setup page opens. - Select the Entry Type as Sale, Purchase, or Transfer.
- Select the Organization Country Code.
This country code is determined in the selection from the Company/Location. If this country code is empty, thenthe Domestic Excise Country Codefrom the Excise Duty Setup is taken into account. - Select the Trading Partner Country Code.
This country code is selected from the Customer or Vendor in Sales and Purchase or from the Transfer to Location in a transfer. If this country code is empty, thenthe Domestic Excise Country Codefrom the Excise Duty Setup is taken into account. - Select the relevant Trading Partner (only relevant in Sales).
- Select the Source No. as the Customer, Vendor, or Location depending on the entry type (whichever is relevant).
- Select the Source Sub No. as Ship to address for the Customers and Order address for the Vendors (whichever is relevant).
- Select the relevant Location Code, and the locations where the goods are shipped or received.
- Select the relevant Tariff Group.
- Select the Customs Tax Partner Type and Customs Tax Partner No.
The Customs Tax Partner No. is only necessary in Non-Domestic Trade when the trading party has no customs license. The customs tax trading partner must have a license for the goods which are moved. - Select the Excise Duty Free External Document Type for the goods movement free from excise.
Excise Duty Free External Document Type is selected when the subject to Excise is No and is required when the external document integration is enabled. - Select the Excise Duty Paid External Document Type for the goods movement where the excise is to pay or reclaim.
Excise Duty Paid External Document Type is selected when the subject to excise is Yes or Blank and is required when the external document integration is enabled.
