Checking Item Beverage and Excise Data

When working with excise goods, the right data must be defined for the Item or Item/Variant in different processes.

To prevent incomplete data, it must be possible to block the process (goods posting, periodic activities).

1. For General Block and block for movement of goods where the calculation of the excise amount depends on values from the Item or Item/Variant. For example, distilled products need an alcohol% and a volume to calculate the Excise Duty amount.
2. For Periodic activities, it is necessary that certain data is filled for the excise duty declaration or electronic inventory movement. With this functionality you can set up the necessary data and data checks before you use them in postings or periodic activities.

It is necessary to turn on the Check Item Excise Data toggle on the Excise Duty Setup page.
