Calculate Warehouse Adjustment

When you use the Calculate Warehouse Adjustment functionality for an ExciseItem in the Item Journal Line, the underlying structure is created.

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Item Journals, and then choose the related link.
    The Item Journals page opens.
  2. On the action bar, go to Actions > Functions > Calculate Warehouse Adjustment.
    The Calculate Warehouse Adjustment Excise page opens.
  3. Enter the Document No.
  4. Filter the Item No., Location, or Variant as required.
  5. Choose OK.

If you set up the Reason Code in Inventory Adjustments as Required or Warning on the Excise Duty Setup page, the item journal lineappears as follows:

  • Positive and Negative gives separate lines
  • Each Reason Code gives a separate line


If you set up the Reason Code in Inventory Adjustments as Not Required in the Excise Duty Setup page, then everything is summed-up in one line with no Reason Code.
