Archive and Restore Sales Documents

You can store documents in archives. It is also possible to restore archived sales documents. When re-storing archived documents from the archive back to orders, the related excise data is re-calculated based on the content of the archive version, setup and the master data.

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Sales Orders, and then choose the related link.
    The Sales Orders page opens.
  2. Select the Sales Order that you want to archive.
    The Sales Order page opens.
  3. On the action bar, go to Actions > Functions > Archive Document.
  4. Choose Yes to archive the document.
    A dialog confirms that the document has been archived.
  5. Choose icon , enter Sales Order Archives, and then choose the related link.
    The Sales Order Archives page opens.
  6. Choose the Archive Sales Order that you want to restore.
    The Sales Order Archive page opens.
  7. On the action bar, choose Restore.
  8. Choose Yes to restore.
    A dialog confirms that the order has been restored.


Similarly, you can use the Archive Document function for purchase documents and the process is exactly the same as sales.
