Alcohol Balance in Production

This function allows you to differentiate the pure alcohol between the production output and consumption posting. You can also get the insight to follow the alcohol balance and give information about the difference.

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Released Production Orders, and then choose the related link.
    The Released Production Orders page opens.

  2. Select the Released Production Order that you want to check the alcohol balance.
    The Released Production Order page opens.

  3. On the Lines FastTab, go to Line > Excise Duty > Alcohol Balance Information.
    The Alcohol Balance Information page opens.


    You can open the Alcohol Information Page from the production order line for finished and released production orders.

    The General FastTab shows the following fields:

    • Production Order No.
    • Item No.
    • Variant Code
    • Description
    • Location Code
    • Quantity
    • Finished Quantity
      The Excise FastTab shows the following fields:
    • Output in Customs Quantity 100%
    • Consumption in Customs Quantity 100%
    • Difference in Customs Quantity 100% (difference between the Output and Consumption Quantity 100%)
    • Posted Difference in Customs Quantity 100% (the actual difference posted with the gain/lost journal)
    • Remaining Difference in Volume 100% (the remaining difference before or after posting the gain/loss journal)
    • Output in Customs Volume
    • Consumption in Customs Volume
    • Difference in Customs Volume
      The Alcohol Information Lines FastTab shows you a list of all posted excise duty ledger entries:
    • Item No.
    • Variant Code
    • Location Code
    • Trade Quantity
    • Customs Content
    • Customs Content UOM
    • Customs Quantity
    • Customs Volume
    • Customs Quantity 100%
    • Excise Amount
    • Entry Type
    • Subject to Excise
    • Reason Code
    • Production Gain/Loss
