Features

With the features added in this release, you can

• Extend the price and discount calculation for excise items in sales and purchase documents considering the general setup, whether the trade is domestic or non-domestic, whether the item is subjective to excise and the price list setup. The price list setup may vary with the price and including or excluding excise and discount based on an amount including or excluding excise. To know more, see Example.
• Integrate the Aptean Excise Duty Management extension with the Aptean Advanced Pricing extension to provide the detailed steps in the calculation of the price and discount. This is enabled by selecting the Advanced Pricing in the Price Calculation Method field on Customer/Vendor level. To know more, see Advanced Pricing Integration.
• Extend the functionality of excise statement setup lines by adding a multiplier feature that enables the calculation of a value in a different unit than the unit of the excise duty ledger entries, for example from Liter (L) to Hectoliter (HL). To know more, see Excise Statement Setup Lines.

UI/UX Changes

The following UI/UX changes have been made in this release:

• Sales Pricing and Purchase Pricing FastTabs are added on the Excise Setup page.
• Price Includes Excise toggle is added on the General FastTab on the Sales Price List and Purchase Price List pages.
• Excise FastTab is added on the Applied Sales Price and Discount and Applied Purchase Price and Discount pages.
• The Source Trading Data page of the Customer has been renamed as Source Trading Partner.
• The Multiplier field is added on the Excise Statement Setup Lines page.
