Features

In the initial release of excise duty management, the excise functionality was not integrated in all functional parts of Business Central. In this release, the excise functionality is fully integrated on the following Business Central functionalities:

• Production, to produce excise goods.
• Assembly, to support the gift box functionality.
• Warehousing, handling excise goods within a warehouse.
• Reporting Currency in the financial posting.
• Fully support the Non-Domestic Trading scenarios for Sales, Purchase and Transfer.

With the features added in this release of Aptean Excise Duty Management extension, you can:

• Store documents in archives and also it is possible to restore archived documents to the actual document. See Archive and Restore Sales Documents for more information.
• Copy data from the General Posting Setup and Inventory Posting Setup into the Excise General Posting Setup and Excise Inventory Posting Setup respectively by using the Copy function. See Excise General Posting Setup using Copy Function and Excise Inventory Posting Setup using Copy Function for more information.
• Suggest Account function is now integrated to Excise Inventory Posting Setup. See Excise Inventory Posting Setup using Suggest Accounts Function for more information.
• Currency usage is now integrated into Sales Documents and Excise Versions. See General Ledger Integration and Domestic and Non Domestic Trade for more information.
• Reporting currency is now integrated into Financial Postings.
• Excise Special Regulations is now integrated for the non domestic trade. See Domestic and Non Domestic Trade for more information.
