Set Default Values by Document Line

You can now assign default values from the document and line levels for an Outbound document. To perform this activity, you must first upload a Schema file in the EDI Port Card page.

To Set Default Values

  1. Select a document for which you want to create an outbound.
    The document details page appears.
  2. On the action bar, click Actions > EDI > Default Value.
    The EDI Default Value page opens.
  3. On the action bar, click Related > Set Default Value Header BCW or Set Default Value Lines BCW.
    The EDI Schema Editor page opens.
  4. Select the entries which you want to set as default for that document and click OK.
  5. Add values to the entries in the EDI Default Value page and click Close.
  6. On the document, on the action bar, click Actions > EDI > Send Document to create an outbound document with this defaults.
