Setting up customers for customs document management

- Select the Search icon
, enter Customers, and then choose the related link.
- Open the relevant customer card.
- On the Customs Document Management FastTab, fill in the fields as necessary. Hover over a field to read a short description.
When Ship-to Addresses are connected to the customer with deviating customs setup, you can set this on the Ship-to Address page:
- Select the Search icon
, enter Customers, and then choose the related link.
- Open the relevant customer card, and then navigate to Order Addresses.
- Open the relevant Ship-to address card.
- On the Customs Document Management FastTab, fill in the fields as necessary. Hover over a field to read a short description.
When the Ship- Address is not setup with customs document values, the values from the vendor will be used when customs documents are created.
To configure different customs licenses for specific item tax class codes on the Tax Classification page when a customer has different customs licenses, follow these steps.
- Open the Customers list page.
- Select the related record from the list.
The Customer Card page opens. - On the action bar, select Related > Customer > Tax Management.
The Tax Relation page opens. - Select a relevant tax code and select Tax Classifications on the action bar.
The Tax Classification Relation page opens. - Fill in the required field values.
- In the Tax Registration No. field, enter the official tax registration number.
- In the Tax Warehouse Reference field, enter the reference to the bonded warehouse associated with the license.
You can also define custom licenses for vendors from the Vendor Card page by following the above steps.
