Configure bracket pricing threshold

You can define and manage pricing thresholds that are inherited from the configured Bracket Pricing Group page. For more information, see Set up bracket pricing groups.

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Bracket Thresholds, and then choose the related link.
    The Bracket Thresholds page opens. It displays all the threshold code and their associated attributes.

  2. Enter the required information in the following fields:

    Field Description
    Code Enter a code for the bracket pricing group.
    Description Enter a description for the bracket pricing group.
    Usage Type Select the usage type of the bracket pricing group. The default value is Sale.
    Source Type Select the source type to which the system must apply the bracket pricing group on the sales document. The available options are:
    • Campaign: The system updates the bracket pricing code in the Campaign field of the sales document.
    • Cust. Price Group: The system updates the bracket pricing group code in the Customer Price Group field of the sales document.
    • Cust. Disc. Group: The system updates the bracket pricing code in the Customer Disc. Group field of the sales document.
    Threshold Type Select the type of threshold the system must apply. The available options are:
    • Quantity: Applies bracket pricing based on the quantity of items in the sales document.
    • Weight: Applies bracket pricing based on the total weight of items.
    • Weight and Quantity: Applies bracket pricing only when both weight and quantity meet their respective thresholds.
      Weight or Quantity: Applies bracket pricing if either the weight or quantity meets the threshold.
    Unit of Measure Code Select the unit of measure code used for the bracket pricing group.
    Maximum Weight Enter the maximum weight applicable for bracket pricing.
    Minimum Weight Enter the minimum weight applicable for bracket pricing.
    Maximum Quantity Enter the maximum quantity applicable for bracket pricing.
    Minimum Quantity Enter the minimum quantity applicable for bracket pricing.

    The following field values cannot be modified, as their values are inherited from the Bracket Pricing Groups page.

    • Usage Type
    • Bracket Pricing Group Code
    • Source Type
    • Source Description
    • Threshold Type
    • Unit of Measure Code

The system displays an error if a duplicate Source No. field value is entered. When the field value is same for the following fields:

  • Bracket Pricing Group Code
  • Source Type
  • Threshold Type

The source number in the source document is updated based on the bracket pricing calculation in the associated Campaign No., Customer Price Group, or Customer Disc. Group field on the following pages.
