Setting up the connection to the handheld devices
Online Warehouse Management requires a few settings to be setup before you can begin using it in your warehouse.
When you want to use handheld devices within your warehouse, they need to communicate with Business Central. To achieve this we start with the basic setup.
When using Aptean Online Warehouse Management, the communication flow between the Android OWM 6 App and Business Central, is through the Aptean Online Management. Setting up this Aptean Online Management, can only be performed by Aptean employees. Therefore, please be guided by one of the employees at Aptean.
- Select the Search icon
, enter Basic Setup (OWM), and then choose the related link. - Fill in all fields as necessary. Hover over a field to read yhe tooltip.
Connection for Business Central on SaaS
a. Enter your License key in the License Key field.
b. Enter api.onlinewarehousemanagement.com in the Address for scanner to connect to field.
c. Enter 443 in the Port on Server field.
