  • When having multiple lines with the same item in the Warehouse Receipt, it is imperative to use longpress on the correct line in the Direct Put-Away, you are unable to scan information. For this we added instructions in the Direct Put-Away.

What

AOW - Ad-Hoc Bin Replenishment - Addition about Priority on bin with content on same item.

Why

As a Warehouse Manager, I want the Ad Hoc Bin Replenishment to first add items to a bin already containing this item, before replenishing other bins for the same Item, so we have bins with enough quantities and don't have a lot of bins filled with small quantities.

PBI 240639 - AOW - Direct Put Away with print functions

What

AOW - Direct Put Away with print functions.

Why

As a warehouse employee, I want to be able to process the Warehouse Receipt and the Warehouse Put-Away in one module on the scanner, including the possibilities to generate Lot Nos and License Plate Nos, so the warehouse employee can process any existing receipt immediately on the scanner, without having to use Business Central.

As a warehouse employee, I want to be able to print the labels for all incoming items from the scanner, so I can immediately apply those labels on the correct items before putting them away, without having to use Business Central.

Additional Functionalities

  • Processing 2D Barcodes is now enabled.
  • Generate and scanning License Plate Nos has been improved by using the new validator Confirm License Plate No.
  • When using longpress on a line in the take modus, without entering a quantity before longpressing, the line quantity from the scanner to registrate is taken over in a quantity popup to confirm, when enabling the validator Validate the quantity. Be aware, the quantity may have been influenced by the validator Round Qty. Per Transport UOM.
  • When having multiple lines with the same item in the Warehouse Receipt, it is imperative to use longpress on the correct line in the Direct Put-Away, you are unable to scan information. For this we added instructions in the Direct Put-Away.
  • Deleting a Warehouse Receipt in Business Central, removes the OWM activity from the Activity List (OWM).
  • Processing any Unit of Measure in the Direct Put-Away is now enabled.
  • When an item has no Default Pallet Unit Of Measure in the Item Units of Measure, in the print functionality only 1 label with the total quantity will be printed.
  • To manually post a warehouse receipt, not completely processed in a Direct Put-Away, the action Update tracking from Direct Put-Away is added to the Warehouse Receipt card and list in Business Central.
  • Only Direct Put-Aways, with status released and In Progress, will be visible on the scanner.
  • A check on the LPN Quantity Inbound Restriction is added.
  • It is now possible to counter an incorrect registration with a negative registration, when the line is still visible on the Direct Put-Away.
  • It is not possible anymore to complete a Direct Put-Away, until you placed all items.

  • One bin can be replenished with multiple items, the Maximum Level Quantity is the maximum quantity for the item in the bin group.
  • Think about the minimum quantity in the Bin capacity lines, because putting the minimum quantity to 0, means you will only put items in the bin when you have no inventory in the bin. Shocking, but after putting the first pallet in the bin, the quantity is higher than 0, so no more pallets are dispatched to the bin. To make sure every bin will be filled up to the last pallet, the minimum quantity should be the maximum quantity, except for single pallet bins.

What

Fix - AOW - Modules Settings - Warehouse Pick - Default Validations.

Why

As a Warehouse Employee, I want to have the correct standard validations on the Warehouse Pick after choosing the Create Default Validations action, so I can easily start my setup.

The standard setup of the warehouse pick

  • does include the Quick Pick confirmation.
  • doesn’t include the Quantity dialog (incl. the Reason Code)
  • nor the License Plate Type dialog

How

Setup

When we want to reset the validators for a Module, we use the Create Default Validations action.

Best practice is to take a copy or print screen of your current validator settings before moving on to the next steps.

PBI 237656 - Fix - AOW- Ad-Hoc Bin Replenishment

What

Fix - AOW- Ad-Hoc Bin Replenishment.

Why

Following issues occurred:

  • Replenishment on Scanner: Always 1 line to much, versus the setup
  • On the scanner after long-pressing the first LPN in the place action, thus moving it, we cannot see the Bin to place anymore for the remaining LPN.
  • On the scanner after placing a part LPN, we cannot see the Bin to place anymore for the remaining LPN.
  • When taken multiple LPNs, in the place all lines have the same bin to place.
  • When we want to take multiple LPNs, it is unclear which replenishment is covered with the LPN we took.
  • The Item Priorities in the Bin Capacity did not update correctly.
  • The Item Priorities in the Bin Capacity are sorted descending, which means all fields are sorted descending, resulting in an incorrect Replenishment list.

These issues are fixed.

To have the correct list on the scanners, please Execute following steps:

  • Validate the Ad-Hoc Replenishment Priority field for all Items, by re-entering the value again or using a configuration package with validation.
