Features

With this release of the Aptean Trade Management extension, you can:

• Calculate freight costs using different criteria such as unit of measure and packaging. To know more, see Trade Plans.
• View the detailed freight cost calculations for sales, purchase, and transfer documents. You can view, manage, and assign freight costs based on the defined trade plans and shipment methods. To know more, see Document Freight Costs.
• Automatically assign trade plans based on specific location and configure freight costs.
• Edit the Calculation Rate Type No. field value on the Trade Plan Card page for a line entry with the Lump Sum checkbox selected.
• Define price rules associated with discounts and assign them to trade plans for purchase documents.
• Configure a specific trade plan as non-reversible.

UI/UX changes

The following UI/UX changes have been made in this release.

• The Document Freight Cost page has been added.

• The Trade Plan Accrual Type field has been added to the Value Entries list page.

• The Non-Reversible toggle has been added to the General FastTab of the Trade Plan Card page.

• The Unit Cost option has been added to the Price Rule field on the General FastTab of the Trade Plan Card page.

• The Transfer option has been added to the Document Type field on the Freight Setup FastTab of the Trade Plan Card page.

• The following allocation options have been added to the dialog on the Item Charge Assignment page and to the Allocation Method field on the Trade Plan Card page:

  • By Floor Space

  • By Net Weight

  • By Unit of Measure

  These options are visible on the dialog upon selecting theSuggest Item Charge Assignment action on the Item Charge Assignment page. To use the By Unit of Measure option, you must ensure that all line items are set with identical unit of measure.

• The Document and Both options have been added to the Freight Cost Calculation field on the Trade Management Setup page.

• The Location, Location From, Location To, and All Locations options have been added to the Source Type field on the Trade Plan Rates page.

• The Use in External Sales toggle has been removed from the Accruals FastTab of the Trade Plan Card page.

• The Allocation field has been removed from the Trade Plan Setup Freight FastTab of the Trade Plan Card page.
