Rules for SSCC number generation

The following rules apply when creating SSCC numbers.

When creating multiple SSCC numbers, you must check if each item tracking line is associated with a license plate number. Item tracking lines without a license plate number will not be considered for generating SSCC numbers.
When the item tracking lines contain mixed items and share the same license plate number, they will not be considered for generating SSCC numbers.
When the Mandatory Shipping Container is specified on the Ship-to Address page for the specified customer, that particular shipping container will be used as the shipping container for the created SSCC number.
When the Mandatory Shipping Container is not specified on the Ship-to Address page for the specified customer, the system will consider the default packaging from the Item Default Packaging page. This involves checking the Default for SSCC checkbox for a particular shipping container type on the Item Card page. The system then checks the packing transactions on the Packaging page.
