EDI Search

EDI environments often process a large volume of EDI activities on a regular basis, making it challenging to locate a specific file or group of files for review purposes as the number of archived activities grows. Aptean EDI provides a search capability that enables users to search for any value in an EDI file that has been sent or received on the EDI Search page, which is accessed from the Search icon .

To perform an EDI search, enter the desired value in the Search String field, then press Enter. Any EDI document that contains the entered value will be displayed in the page. You can obtain further information about a particular record by selecting the line and, clicking the Linked Documents action on the action bar. The EDI Message Linkage page opens, displaying a list of all documents that are related to the selected EDI search line. You can then select a line on the EDI Message Linkage page and on the action bar, click Show to view the source document.
