Setting up logistics statuses
When sales documents and purchase documents are registered in the system, their status can be Open, Pending Approval, Pending Prepayment, or Released. However, for effective warehouse management, logistics planning, and customer service, you may need more detailed information about the process status of the orders.
When you use bins in your warehouse, you need to confirm that they contain products available for picking and that these goods are neither blocked nor in quarantine or any other restricted state.
When preparing pallets for shipping, check their status by license plate, such as blocked, sealed, or ready to load.
By setting up Logistics Statuses page, you can manage status flows, define allowed next and back steps, set display order, and enable other features to meet your needs.
- Select the Search icon
, enter Logistics Statuses, and then choose the related link. - On the Logistics Statuses page, select the New action.

To ensure consistency between theItem Availability and Net Item Availability field values in the Sales Line Details Factbox of the Sales Order page, we recommend avoiding the selection of the Exclude from Pick checkbox on the Logistic statuses page of the associated shipping bins.
